funny that, seeing as trying to use as described leads to NO SOUND AT ALL

I find it funny, as MSI "tech support" says cannot use sound, have to be Nahimic + Realtek or will not function. I am on x570 which means, AMD AM4.top it all off, I was using the drivers I had used since late July into August 2019, sound was perfect, all of a sudden it "stopped functioning" properly.went to be on March 22, on the 23rd (2020) sound was messed up.įunny how "generic" driver makes sound (but it badly messed up in Chrome) but generic allows to play Diablo 3 and beyond it being quite loud, can for sure be heard (though sounds like in a drum all the time) voices are WICKED loud (cannot turn down) sounds (in general) same thing.everything else is almost a whisper. surprise.not really when on the windows store it says very directly Intel 8th generation. MSI insists it MUST be used or sound will not work.have to jump through hoops of getting the driver, getting Nahimic, installing it, trying to uninstall it, than going to windows store, to be greeted with the "this is not compatible with your hardware" notification. Win10 was unable to restore, did all I could think of.sent MSI support ticket.their response was sending me here (when I had told them I had already tried) up untill this point I had NEVER installed Nahimic (read too much problems related to its use / not able to use) surprise, surprise, does NOT work on a "supposedly" supported motherboard model (as stated above to another user) Tried via MSI x570 Gaming Edge WiFi after lost sound completely (became garbled) tried doing system restore from a backup I had made earlier. Tip: CTRL+F could help to find your model

We will try to keep it updated as much as possible.

Here is the list of compatible MB and desktop for Nahimic 3.
